Has anyone considered the Altec CD912 duplex for a speaker design to be used with a low power tube amp?

I know they are too expensive, i think a vintage pair would be a better solution. But they are often damaged when show up on ebay.de and too expensive also. Maybe i will find a pair sometime elsewere.
