I am looking at making some new rear speakers using these two will they go together all right
woofer a 5.5" vifa this is all I can find on it 110Wmax Coil 25mmØ Mag 240g 75mmØ Zo 8 ohm (5.5ohm dc) Fs 52Hz Sens’ 86dB Qms 2.86 Qes 0.50 Qts 0.43 Vas 12L Code TC14SG-68-08 the tweeter vifa also Coil 20mmØ Mag 105g 70mmØ Zo 6W (4.2ohm dc) Fs 1400Hz Sens’ 90dB Qms 3.10 Qes 1.76 Qts 1.12 Code TC20TD-05-06 can any one suggest a good xo point as well thanks guys |

You could probably mate these up just fine. Crossovers are a tricky and individual thing, but my first shot at it would be something like an acoustic Linkwitz-Reilly 4th order at about 3 kHz. This puts you an octave above tweeter resonance and at a point where the woofer still has OK dispersion.
