Has anyone made a bookshelf useing these? I mean, look at the frequency responce, its ruler flat on both of these. It seems like to me this would make for an extremely simple crossover. Comments please.

I have used D25 and D27, but they have lower Fs! I have had a bad time working with 1K3-Fs tweeter in a 2 way system, and I guess your suggested tweeter has similar property. Simple crossover might not work unless the speaker is intended for low spl.
