Default Fane Pop 100 Loudspeaker Drivers

I've been given the chance to own these 18" Fane drivers which I presume are from some time in the 70's

I was thinking of using them up to 150-300hz crossing over to full range drive units from there on in

A search on the internet reveals nothing

Has anyone got any idea of the Thiele and Small parameters for this particular driver, and far more importantly whether it is any good, how does it compare to more recent 18" units, any comments regarding sound etc

I was thinking of using them in Bass reflex enclosures, obviously this is dependant on the Thiele and Small parameters

Default Fane POP Series

The Fane (British) pop series were cheap guitar speakers in the 70's, used when you couldn't afford Celestion ones. Guitarist friends didn't think much of them, some being more unkind than others.
This was before Theile & Small parameters were used, so you won't find published data, you'd have to measure them. They probably have a small xmax and high sensitivity, being designed for guitar amps, or maybe for horn loaded pa use.

Probably best to use some modern speakers instead.
