Will this cable configuration work?

I have some 3 conductor cable, and I was wondering if either of these will work.

I think the 2nd scenario should work for sure, but the 1st one is my real concern. I know ground is ground, technically, but will it cause any interference between the channels in that configuration?

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

2 will allways work.

Think Marantz years ago were keen on this fitting 3 terminals
to their speakers and amplifiers but full bi-wring killed it.

I am very sceptical of bi wiring, i know it has a purpose, but most really high end audio only has 1 pair of terminals, for speakers that have muilt amps i think its better, but when i see cheap speakers with bi amp terminals, i think its just a way to sell more cable? how much more 79 stand to you need?

To check to see if a amp is wired in BTL Mode or regular mode, can you just connect a ohm meter between (-) and the chassis (or + and chassis for inverted configurations...)? And if you get no ohms, its normal, and infinate (high) you have an output device coupled to the terminal?

Whats happening, you'll never guess what happened, the dude I was
selling my amp to pulled through, so if you've still got those caps to
get rid of yell out and ill send the money straight away. What happened
though, the guy who was gunna buy it, changed his mind, but then he
offered me a brand new channel he had lying around, one that hadn't been
used for the Yamaha p2200, don't ask me what the ods of finding one of
them are, lol. However I still need output transistors and those caps of
yours. If you are still willing to sell. Thankyou, forgive my
dodginess,lol.

Sounds about right, but not quite e.g. for an insulated chassis.

If the negative terminals are a dead short between them
then I'd say its safe to assume common earth.
I've never seen an inverted amplifier, i.e. common positive.
