dipole sub H-Frame, phase or opposite phase ?

I want to try this but do I wire drivers as usual (red on red, black on black so in phase) or in opposition (red on black for one driver)

You wire the drivers in opposite phase so
cone movement is in the same direction.

Come to think of it, what would happen the other way around? It would become a quadropole, right? I'm not saying it would be good, I just wonder what would happen with the directivity and frequency response.

Simply a non-starter, given the module has to be rolled
off to supress the H frame frame resonances, so at lower
effective frequencies the two drivers would simply cancel.

It would generate very little sound. I tried it with a W baffle for kicks and it was almost silent.

Yes, it's probably a bad idea, I was just thinking that whatever little that comes out of it could be even more directed than from the dipole.

I think I heard of the opposite once, ie a quadropole microphone. It would be something they used in helicopters to supress ambient noise. Ah, well...
