btw, I didn't mean its a crap house woofer... it would be usable in a larger environment.. but its designed for car use?!?!?! yeah man, I love my music with a 10dB peak at 50Hz.. ;p

Unfortunately, that's waaay to common in car audio.

Looks great for an auto midbass, just filter it an octave or so above resonance, and it'll still go down to 70 Hz! Or use electronic assitance like Linkwitz Transform, it shouldn't need any boost to get into the 30's... Be creative!

The Q is indeed surprisingly high for that size of magnet. But it looks like exactly the woofer I've been looking for- dipole line source application. Are they cheap?
