Default Peerless Seas 2 way

I'm working on some HT main speakers using the Peerless 850122 midwoofer and the Seas 27TFFC tweeter in a sealed box.

My starting point was Jason Andreason's reflex mini monitor which features the two drivers I'm interested in using.

My query concerns the crossover and baffle step. Since I'm changing the enclosure dimensions (to a 10" wide baffle), I take it I'll have to change the baffle step component values. How do I calculate this, and would I have to change any other values in the crossover due to the change in enclosure shape and volume?

Thanks in advance,

Glenn

Some useful info here and probably a better crossover.

Baffle step correction is via Rbs and Lbs - very crude, and it
appears to only offer around 2dB of baffle step correction.

The SB network is for an 8.5" baffle, so 10" is 18% more,
IMO probably the effect would be slightly richer voicing.

I'd use the SB network as it is, with adjustment
of the 3.5R tweeter resistor to taste for the 27TFFC.

Thanks sreten. I had looked at the SB site a while ago, but didn't think of substituting the 27tffc tweeter.

The baffle width is no problem. I can change my enclosure dimensions to suit.

Thanks again,

Glenn

A series filter, although for a floorstander can be found at:

He states that the filter suits Seas 27tffc.
