Hi everyone!
How is the sound of FOCAL TC120 TD5 TWEETER ? Do you have any comments about it? Thanks |

I really like the ones I have. It integrates very nicely with a 6W4252 mid-woofer. I also used them with some treated paper cone focal mid-woofers in an MTM for HT use. They never show any sign of strain, even at "can only take this for a minute or so" volumes.
There is a small peak in the response centered at about 3500 Hz that may be related to the phase plugs. I have heard people who pull them off like the sound. I haven't had the nerve to try it yet, since it does not look like it would be a reversible process. I use a notch filter in my active XO to compensate. |
