Default TangBand w3-871S 2-way bookshelfs

I'm working out a design for a set of 2-way bookshelf speakers using the tb W3-871S 3" full ranges. I'm looking for a 6-8" woofer to fill in the bottom end.
I'm not really interested in super-high-volume or ridiculous wall-shaking bass.

I do, however, like the sound of speakers with low extension but above all I want a woofer capable of matching the excellent sonic quality of the tb 3" drivers.

I'd like to cross the driver as low as possible but high enough to prevent the 3" drivers from being driven beyond xmax at a reasonable listening level. (150-400Hz)

The TangBand W6-1139SC 6.5" woofer from Parts Express seems interesting to me. Tuned to 30hz in a ported .6cu ft enclosure looks like there would be usable output almost down to 30Hz! That would be amazingly full range for such a small package. I'm concerned about the sound quality possible out of a 6.5" woofer with 11.5m xmax, though.

Suggestions? I don't really want to spend more then $60 USD / woofer.

The W5's are quite nice. I used two of them in a TL and got decent results.
