not a bad way to excercise. That horn is way too short for that driver though, not really a horn. Good sounding horns usually end up very large compared to other types of enclosures, the mouth should be many times the area of the driver. Also, you gotta make sure you use a very low Q driver for a horn, ~1-3 Qts. But it does look like fun, I do the same type of thing when I'm bored, quick and dirty designs in impractical situations. Here's one, a line array composed of 28 1:2" drivers glued to a cardboard tube(I get those drivers for free from work):

I know its too short, but I expected some increase in efficiency (as the graph suggests) but it doesn't do anywhere near as well as the graph suggests it should... doesn't matter.. was fun

it was more to see what these "snail shells" can really do...
http://www.powered4sound.com
I designed my properly, based on teh drivers specs (unlike some people who just go... hmm, thats a nice size) in all honesty, its a crock... this box was if anything, quieter than ported... they have CLAIMED that the snail shells are 6dB more efficient than ported, I'm sure they may be, but once stuck in the poor environment of a car, all this gain is lost...

Actually, that 6db gain from the horn would be further amplified by cabin gain, not lost.

well IMO its a resonant line not a horn and far too short
to be equivalent to a decently low port tuning frequency.

In terms of low bass it hasn't a prayer against a reflex
for a driver suited to to the box volume and reflex tuning.
