I bought an amp that has speakon connectors and I would like to use them ...I am confused about the connections on them...they have 4 setscrews 2 in 2 out..how do I connect a regular two conductor pos+neg speaker wire?

if im not mistaken, its setup for accepting a stereo pair of speakers... so, 2 wires, 2 speakers, 4 connections. you can either use them for a single speaker each (either just use 2 wires, or double-up on them), or use a single jack for a pair of speakers.

Check the amp manual but you can usually just use 1+ / 1-

Which connection on speakon is positive and which is neg,since there is 4 of them two in center and 2 on the outer shell?

If you look carefully at the base of each screw, you'll see 1+/1-/2+/2-...
They're not easy to see at first sight !
