Default Enclosure Volume for Eton 11-581/50 Hex ?

Hi !

I have looked at Avalon eidlon with the 11" but i get some very strange values when using the same size of the box (75 l) and the same Vents tuned to 19Hz as they do...

Default Eton bass driver

I have looked at an avalon eidolon clone after reading Martin Colloms HiFi News review of them, In which he states " A low Q sealed box alignment is used, the reflex vent deliberately detuned to extend the extreme bass and more helpfully augment the systems low frequency dynamic range."

http://www.avalonacoustics.com/pdfs/eidolon_revu.pdf

In using WinISD with the Eton TS parameters for a 75L enclosure around 19HZ does seems a good trade off for phase and group delay characteristics. This seems so over a range of Q.

The measured -3dB point is around 36Hz which is in line with the calcs.

For this size this seems a reasonable choice to me.

What are your particular queries?
