Im buying some speakers for DJing and I was told to stay away from piezo tweeters. I've read some about them, but what is really so bad about them and what is better? are titanium tweeters better?
These are the two speakers Ive been looking at and I cant decide because Im worried about tweeters (should I be worried), which looks better? #1 * Woofer - 12" 2 way and has a 40oz magnet with a 2” kapton voice coil * 150 Watts RMS – 300 Watts Peak * Wired at 8 ohms * 45Hz –20KHz * Sensitivity: 98 db * 6x12 Piezo Tweeter * Dual ports #2 RMS Power----------------- 150 watts Peak (program) power---- 300 watts Ohm load--------------------- 8ohm Efficiency-------------------- 98db Frequency Response----- 45-20,000hz Size and Weight------------ 26x16x14 40LBS Woofer----------------------- Madison Warrior 12 Woofer details------------- 50oz. magnet, 2.5" voice coil Tweeter---------------------- PHD010t Titanium Tweeter details------------ 50oz. magnet, 1.5" diaphragm and coil Crossover details---------- 12db per octave, tweeter protection * 12" 2 way 150 watt RMS PA cabinet * 1.5" Titanium horn loaded * High power 2 way 12db crossover with tweeter protection * Large 7x14 horn lens with internal bracing * Precision tuned (Dual 3x5 ports are used) |
