Hi.... I'm currently looking for speakers to start a speaker project. I plan to have a sub with two 12" speakers in push/pull, and two satellites with 6.5" speakers in a MTM configuration.
Are the Eclipse 12" W1238R's a good choice... obviously their specs are good (are they accurate?) with an fs of 18 hz. Other speakers with these kinds of stats I see usually are $150 or more... while the Eclipse are around $70. Are the Eclipse a well built speaker that will last very long? I am planning to use two of them in my sub design so hopefully that will divide the load between the two.... or... Should I just get one of the higher priced speakers and only use that? Thanks, Matt |
