tweeter recommendation

i'm looking for a reasonably sized and priced textile dome tweeter that has a nice flat response from about 2kHz up.

No silk though, and off axis performance is paramount.

not concerned about efficiency, 8ohm would be preferable.

if i cant find one i was considering the LPG 26T but i'd really prefer the warmer sound of a textile dome

Have you considered the Seas 27TDFC. It appears to have everything you want (with the minor exception of it being 6 ohms instead of 8) AND it's cheap. Here is an excellent workup of the 27TDFC (with ferrofluid) and it's close cousin the 27TDC (without ferrofluid).

hrmm that seas unit does look nice.. bit pricey and 6ohm though.

nothing on the 8ohm side eh?

i heard people have been modifying the the LPG 26T somehow.. anything a diy'er can handle?
