Wayne J's Low Cost Dayton 5.1's as Dipoles

I'm currently building a set of 3 di/bipolar speakers for surrounds in my home theater system using the design by Wayne J. For each of the di/bipolars I am building what is essentially 2 of the original designed speakers back to back and wiring them in parallel either in-phase for bipolar or out-of-phase for dipolar. I'm curious how this will effect the frequecy response and (especially) the impedance curve. Will this result in a 4ohm load (nominal)? Will there be any dips to very low impedances I should be aware of? Any other comments on this design would be much appreciated.
 
The phasing connections do not affect the amplifier load.

Just wiring the tweeters out of phase will work, but the
effect is more marked when mid / tweeters are used.

But the problem here is phase cancellation at crossover
with the main bass driver if they are phase aligned.

The best design for this is purposfully designed with a
90 degree phase difference at crossover, so in and out
of phase are both 90 degrees, and the response is
optimised for both phase connections.
