Default unit simillar to KEF B110?

After hearing the sound of vintage KEF reference 101 monitors which have B110 unit in them, i'm now in quest for unit which would sound simmilar to this one since it is not being made anymore. I know this is a rather stupid question but I would like to obtain sound of this unit. I guess there maybe even better units out there,so now I'm waiting for your recommendations.
Please forgive me once again,if this is stupid request, but I guess the ones who heard this driver could uinderstand me.
thanks in advance

I have a pair of KEF 101's that I would like to refurbish and I won't be needing the drivers anymore.

Wilmslow audio state on their website that monacor make a unit that works well as a replacement, could be worth calling them, they're very helpful.

p.s. i use the SPH-135/C myself, quite good for the price, but I cannot comment on whether it "supplies", what you are looking for.

You probably know the B110's parametres -- but just in case, here's a link to them: http://www.t-linespeakers.org/drivers/b110.html.
Cheers

The Unofficial LS3/5a Support Site. could be a good resourse for you as well. The LS3/5a also uses the B110, some people here could have useful experience with modern replacement drive units. If you get old units, don't drive them too hard, glue and voicecoil technology has moved on since the B110 era. The modern replacements would have higher power handling for sure.
