Where is Linaeum Tweeter

i'm considering these tweeters as "helper" tweeters on my (dipole) magnepan mg-1 speakers which have a soft rolled off treble.

any recs. on which would be more suitable: the monopole or dipole versions

just got the last pair of aura dipole tweeters from unical!! they said they were going to check if any more were available from aura.

does anyone know where to find the T/S parameters for the dipoles (or are they they similar to the monopoles)??

plenty of monopoles still available @ around $20 or so

Both Radio Shack and Aurasound no longer carry the dipole.

Good bye to a great little dipole ribbon tweeter.

BTW, the last of them from Unical were the mylars from Malaysia.

While not as good as the silk, still a nice clean sound...

Thats too bad - I now feel really guilty that I actually threw a pair out a few years back when moving since they'd been sitting around untouched for a long time.

I made a pretty cool "poor man's Gallo Nucleus" with the Linaeum from a pair of RS speakers and a Seas midbass mounted in a spherical plaster-coated enclosure. Spooky imaging. Never integrated it with a sub, though, so it never really made it off the workbench.....
