I have a circuit diagram for a three way crossover that i am going to use for my main speakers. I also want to use the same Bass/Mid and Tweeter drivers for my center channel and so does anyone here have any ideas which components I would need to remove to allow the bass/mid unit to get the full bass ??
NOTE: i) R3 is just used for simulation for L4 ii) My current guess is just the following components: C3 R3+L4 Any thoughts ?? |

I think the situation is not that simple. You need to post more information. The values will at least help to know the crossover points (L1,C1,L3,C3) as well as the bump to be filtered (R3,C4,L4).

Well I can comment. The trap circuit works in conjunction with c3 to form the highpass. The trap kills the impedance hump at driver resonance.
L3, R2, R4 and C5 are the lowpass filter. Strictly speaking L3 R4 and C5 form the lowpass filter and R2 is there to make everything hunky dory with the rest of the network. You cant just remove components with this to go from three to two way. Plus this is a midrange driver, not a mid/bass so its not going to work even more. I have emailed you mark about this. Matt
