I want to build a pair of powered stage monitors with a couple of 12" McKenzies I have. I used to have some passives which were just equilateral triangles. Not even ported. Ok, but now I can do better. Does any one know of any proven designs.
If not I'll go for 60/30 angles. Is there anything I should look out for? |

You could make them more like normal speakers but with angled
back sections, so they are more compact for the volume, and could be used with a top hat in the side (wedge speaking). |

The angles are purely to point the drivers directly at the musicians, so if you are always dealing with the same band, say who play seated on a small stage, you could build them to suit your application.
