Wedge monitors

I want to build a pair of powered stage monitors with a couple of 12" McKenzies I have. I used to have some passives which were just equilateral triangles. Not even ported. Ok, but now I can do better. Does any one know of any proven designs.
If not I'll go for 60/30 angles. Is there anything I should look out for?

You could make them more like normal speakers but with angled
back sections, so they are more compact for the volume, and
could be used with a top hat in the side (wedge speaking).

The angles are purely to point the drivers directly at the musicians, so if you are always dealing with the same band, say who play seated on a small stage, you could build them to suit your application.
