Hmmm........ not really. requiring "just" a clear coat means you can't
use any filler whatsoever, so hiding seams will be next to impossible.

Kitchen doors yes, speakers I don't think so.

Cabinets built with 45-degree joints should not need filler. Come to think of it butt joints should not need filler either, unless your saw is off. ;) And, if filler is needed, I'm sure you can mix some of the sawdust with some glue and get a pretty close match. I've built furniture of maple, oak, mahogany, pine and none of my pieces have any filler on them.

Use one color for the sides, another for the baffle. With a little creativity, interesting cabinets could be realized.
