Has anyone actually built/heard a set of Human Speakers? I'm intrigued by them and thinking about building the EPI 100 clone. They seem to be highly regarded, but I have yet to find anyone that has actually heard them. Any input would be appreciated...thanks.

this is a loudspeaker diy site, for what your looking for, find a suitable partner, do your thing, then send him or her to a school that does alot of speech and debate when they get older.
this was a pretty good one |

I don't know....Human Speaker, a model number referred to as a clone. I could definently see some confusion here. Me and my wife have tried making human speakers. I must have stuck the voice coil in the gap a million times, and still nothing.

No, you shouldn't be sorry at all. It's probably me, who's not to damn bright. I realized it was a joke after reading your post a couple of times... sorry.

Those EPIs probably sounded very good for their day, with the dome tweeter and rubber surround on the woofer and all.
