I knew I should have come it at from this angle from the begingin.
Anyways planet10 mentioned building some BD-pipes in the D3 post that I asked about but my listening room is this size. http://mywebpages.comcast.net/ajbert...o/roomleft.jpg http://mywebpages.comcast.net/ajbert.../roomright.jpg http://mywebpages.comcast.net/ajbert...o/roomback.jpg This is the listening area rite now and my speakers are sort of jury rigged ATM. But the room is quite large and I am really never in one place at once but mostly at the kitchen table. I am thinking of moving the speaker so that they face towards the kitchen and are in front of that large winow in the 1st and 2nd pictures. This would be my first speake project and I would like to keep it under 200. |

One advantage to building a bipole as Dave has suggested is they sound almost as good off-axis as they do on. If you're the type of listener that can't sit still long this may work well for you.
