Default Loudspeaker limericks

Not sure what caused this.

There was a young man who loved speakers
Thought himself quite a good tweaker
So with caps and a coil
For hours did toil
To find it had made him much meeker.

I'm sure there are better poets than I.

Cal

The books create quite a mound
The parameters to which we are bound
But with woof squawk and tweet
And crossover they meet
To create such a beautiful sound

Just now, my face I did slap
'cause I'm usually a careful chap
But today I forgot
The caps I just bought
So the tweeters ended up in my lap.

There is a legend that roams on these grounds
who touts this magic upgrade he found
he reversed the direction of his audio cable
from the way it was connected to his turn-table
And swears of the improvement in sound

shame on you for starting this thread...

Involving animals, "frogs", with hifi
is not a good thing to do, ill tell u why
they just jump all around
though they might produce a good sound
till you wonder damn why did i get into DIY

Dogs are no better although you might not think
but they cannot go woofing without a good drink
the problems dont end their,
the howling, the poop, the HAIR!
and I havent even yet mentioned the stink

Sorry for the haiku, I was compelled.

There once was a man from Nantucket
Who loved the sound of a string when you'd pluck it
Though a bit quit for tastes
He made an Aleph in haste
and FR horn from a bucket?

Ah, the magic they bring to our ears
These projects that cause us some tears
Some don't sound great
But that is the fate
And they'll sound fine after a couple more beers

Cheers

For you roddyama,

Haiku is good too
Hard to make as funny though
Stick to limerick
