Gosh, 112 posts... What did I start?

Ok here's a plan. Sometime in the autumn, (to give us plenty of time to get things together, planned and built), we all get together and have us a little contest of these things?

Ground rules- any tweeter, any number of AP100s, no other drivers. Or if you do, a separate category for sub systems.

Anyone game?

Hey, anyone can give it a go, just get a tweeter and start playing with winISD!

I think my variants will use 2 of the APs, s/h tweeters, that I think are Audax, from some old Turbosound boxes, and will probably be active, using LM4871 3 way amp chips. I haven't decided on box type yet, I have to do some measuring first.

Wink COMPETITION EH?

I was thinking more of a social event, but hey i think i can handle some "competitive encouragement"

I still do not believe a £4 driver has generated so much interest, i think it's great!

What i would like to know is what maplin think of all this? I rang the shop where i am getting the tweeters from to reserve them and another pair of woofers and the last pair they sold was August 02

I might need to revise my choice of tweeter now, Such talk of meetings in august may require my SS 2905/9500 being robbed from my "mains"

looking forward to your design pinkmouse........
