I posted last week and at that time I was looking at buiding the Vox 252 to be part of a second system I'm putting together. I subsequently had the opportunity to listen to the Vox 200 and decided on the spot to go with them instead.
I would be interested in hearing from any constructors of this speaker that may have tweaked or altered this design for better performance. I'll be retaining the same internal volume, however, I'll use 32mm mdf instead of 19mm. I'll brace the enclosure more substantially and I will not be recessing the bass driver as shown on the link below......I have no need to put a grill cloth over this driver. http://www.visaton.com/english/homehifi.htm (click on 3 way speakers) I'm aware they are fairly inefficient into a 4 ohm load, however, amplification is not a problem. Any additional construction tips would be welcome as I pick these drivers up this morning. Cheers,
