Sonic Barrier damp for Kairos kit

Hi,
I'm about to purchase the Kairos kit.
I want to combine Dacron damp and Sonic Barrier.
Do I need to change the internal cabinet volume if I use 1" Sonic Barrier?
Just purchased Sonic Barrier from PE with more other stuff and I want to know if to cancel it because I don't want to change the cabinet plans (my first build want to stick it as much as I can).
