Scan-Speak 2904-700000 + Dayton RS52AN... Active or Passive crossover in 3 way?

My plan was to use miniDSP for 3 way active DIY speakers, but...

Am I better off to use a passive xo for this mid and tweeter combined with a tube amp for amplification and a class D amp for just the woofers (ES180TiA) or would I be better advised to stay with the class D amp throughout?
