Foster (Fostex) & Tangbabd MTM kits on ebay

Has anyone seen, or better yet heard these speakers?

$20.50 for a kit of 2 5.25" foster woofers and a tangband tweeter seems like a good price. Just wonder if the two woofers are built with the usually fostex quality???
Crossover is probably no good, but you could build your own.

What let you believe that Foster = Fostex ?
Fostex is a Japanese company and the Foster drivers are manufactured in Korea.
Perhaps you should verify that before to be too much enthusiast.

BTW that doesn't mean that for the price it's not a good deal...

Foster is the parent company of Fostex, but I suppose these could be from a different company named Foster due to the korea stamp. I'm sure someone around here will know the anwser to that. thats why I posted...

Not too enthusiastic about them by the way. Just curious.
