..its not just the larger diaphragm, mass is substantially lower than the smaller diameter driver. Also, linear excursion is 3 times the smaller diameter driver. Extension on both ends is also better. Pitty linearity isn't great, and potentially difficult to achieve with analog - which makes it a particularly good canidate for DSP.

On the right horn/waveguid, corrected, this driver should deliver a high degree of detail/clairity with that very low Mms vs Sd.
 
DSP for sure. This particular box will be a tri-amped with a QSC PLD 4.5 with 2x15's, one mounted on each side wall, 3x8's on the front for midbass, one horn on the front and back with a variable L-pad for the back horn. Looks like it'll be all BMS cones.

Live instrument, keyboard, anything monitor.
