hi
i wanna ask which would be batter should i use two p17s or one pl18 price of one p17 is half the pl18 thats y i am asking pl18 is 3db efficent but using two p17 wil make it up for it both of them roll off below 100hz quickly i will be using a sub so i need response down to midbase area like say solid down to atleast 80hz which is better and why wt abt midrange qualities of both i will be using a low end receiver with them so i wont be really hapy for below 4ohms load thats y i'll be going for p17 4ohm version conted in series any other drivers to consider in the same price range with similar compatibilities and quality any suggestions thx aimen

Whenever i can i like to use 2 woofers, mount them push-push (and if necessary roll of the back driver -- ie use it as a 0.5 woofer)

i have no expreince in DIY so i dont know much i dont know how to make a .5 xover secondly i am going to use a low end HT receiver so i wont be much happy will low ohm loads ,, i need some advice here two 4ohm(p17) connected in series, or two p17 8ohms in parallel, i heard paralle xovers are better then series is there any differance? i'll be using peerless d100 or d105 tweeter and i am aiming at 90+ db efficency for midwoofer any other suggestions in this range my budget for this two or twohalf way speaker is 100$ for drivers thx aimen |
