Got two of those brand new in the box in perfect condition and the foam around them is good as new ...Those have been stored in a very dry place and appear to have absolutely no problem .
As far as i know these used to be the units of 4313 speaker which was a 3way with a paper mid range and a dome tweeter ...
I dont have the speaker i just have the woofers and the closest thing to match them in a box configured as 2 way is 2405 tweeter also brand new .
Do you think that this combination stands a chance ?

This is what i had in mind that the LE10 will never meet the 2405 at a cross point ...I am also thinking that the difference in sensitivity and/or spl will never match ...the 2405 will be always above ....
If we forget the 2405 as a solution for high can any one tell us if the LE10 is suitable for a 2WAY speaker ?

You may want to run some measurements on the JBL LE10 first to see whether it's suitable for a 2-way.
If it's possible, I suggest the Selenium D220Ti with a Dayton H812. The response is exceptionally smooth. Goes down to 800Hz.
Here are some responses of horns mounted to the D220ti.
And tested in a 2-way with a Dayton RS180s.

Mike
