Meadowlark Heron may be handmade in USA, but looking at the picture there is no disguise of it's Scandinavian drivers
There's the SS ring radiator, a SS sliced paper cone midrange, and two SS carbon fibre woofers. I wouldn't praise ScanSpeaks midrange too much, as it is not very detailed IMO. Linear, yes. Detailed, no. But they're woofers and tweeters are excellent. As LSDG says about the SS ring radiator R2904 (quote): "The R2904/7000, along with the AccutonC223/6, Hiquphon OW I/II/III, Human 002, Morel MDM33, and the Alison Acoustics 4010203 (available only as a replacement part for Allison loudspeakers) are considered by many to be the ultimate electrodynamic tweeters." Your point being? |
