Default Muffling highs and mids on the speaker driver (directly)

Hola a todos!

I was trying to make a big exciter for a bending wave pannel, I look around and found a fabric softener cap, put it inside the center, perfect fit, then play some music with no crossover, lowered RF and lost highs and part of mids! A better woofer?? (3/4 inch fit inside and away enough to not crash)
