Default "unipolar" to bipolar loudspeakers

My loudspeaker are 4 ways using driver from dynaudio, focal and
peerless. x-over 6db/oct. they sound great but i'm thinking about modifying them to do a bipolar lourspeaker with the same set of driver back and front, maybe isobarick too. have you try the same path and what was the result?
