- Faital Pro 10FH520
- Faital Pro 15HP1060
- Beyma 15P1200Nd (within 1dB of the Faital 15"s - I use them interchangeably)

Modified Behringer B3030A for mains, sometimes a 16" cube with 2x JBL GTO1214 for sub use.

2x Fostex FE126E with full P10 treatment
2x Fostex FE166En
2x 18Sound 6ND430

Which one do you prefer sq-wise?

Haven't auditioned them one vs the other, only done some measurements where (as Hornresp predicts) they're extremely close. They reach their limits at about the same time when you hammer them with a MA12000i, too. Not much to choose between them, really.
I use them for live sound, so moving the kick drum mic 6" makes a bigger difference to the LF sound quality.

For home use,
52x Vifa TC9
2x Scan Speak 10F
2x Scan Speak 30W

Of the above list 50x Vifa and 2x Scan speak 10F are in use... the 2x Scan Speak 30W will soon be added to the in use list, meaning I only have 2x Vifa TC9 laying around for future use and/or experiments :).

My goal (and hobby) is to get the best out of what I have, not to build as many variations as I can. I got tired of trying out many different drivers. I don't think that's where the answers are to my particular questions.

Can not stop bying drivers

Hi

I can not stop bying new drivers.

Most of the ones I have have never been out of the box. I have a lot of ideas but not enough time and/or energy to try them all out.

That said I have 5" TB fullrange and 2 vifa 8" for home cinema.

I have the PA stuff for my mobile discotheque.

And I have some of the Scan Speak and the Focals for stereo.

Next project is a baffle less three way speaker for stereo. Wavecors for bas, ESS for highs and and will experiment with all of the drivers that can handle the midrange.

best regards

Uwe

PS me and drivers is a little like my wife and shoes/handbags etc.

Uwe/Heinz1964, i totally agree with you about cannot stop buying drivers...

Eminence APT80 (only one in that same enclosure)

That list would have been 3-4x as long a few years back, but it's good to cull the herd and only keep what's in actual use.

Believe it or not, I'm down to 1 active pair & woofers upstairs, the 7.1 (dual woofers) downstairs, and only 1 spare pair. Mr D, on the other hand - not counting inventory staged for treatment - must have literally hundreds, I'm sure he's not tallied them for years.
