I noticed these Bravox drivers in the latest PE circular:
http://www.partsexpress.com/tech/269-680.html They are visually identical to the drivers in my Energy Take 5 satellites. The specs (Fs ~150, extremely low Vas) seem to match those of the small, sealed Take 5s. For the purpose, the Energy speakers are very good, certainly better than Best Buy quality even if they are not hi-fi. I feel that they are very credible with acoustic material, provided you don't play too loud. (and have a sub!) There are some other threads discussing them here, but I haven't seen any connect them back to Energy. |
