Peerless CSC vs. CSX

Hi everyone,

I'm new here - been a passive reader for some time, though - and now the moment came where I really need some advice: what is the difference between the Peerless CSC and CSX series?
I'm projecting a small two-way tower, and the best woofer choice seems to be either the 145 CSC or -X but I'm totally lost as to their difference. Yes, the T/S parameters differ, but isn't there more to their difference?

The CSX drivers are better drivers, if you can afford them then they are worth the increased price tag.

Indeed there is. The cones are similar but the X series have
more advanced motor techology. This equates to bigger
magnets, lower distortion (due to a aluminium ring in the
magnetic circuit )and importantly for small drivers greater
excursion capabililty, +/- 5mm for the CSX versus +/- 2mm
for the CSC 165 mm car versions.
