Sansui SP-L800 which woofers

i aquired these for 10 bucks canadian,
the rubber surround on the woofers is trashed.

would i be better off to replace all 4 woofers with new ones
16 ohm? as per stock or go 4 ohm in series?

should i use 2 types of woofers in each speaker for better response and bass. or all 4 the same.

planning on using my bk pro-600 amp for these suckers.
the sansui sp-l800's are rated 300w per side.
same as my cerwin vega's but much larger.

so much equipment to fix and modd. so little time. any help would be appreciated

suggest you consider replacing the surrounds,
will be a lot cheaper and the speaker will be original.

had all 4 reconed and 1 needed the magnet realigned?
this cost me $420 CAD and i couldnt be happier.

man these speakers are true monsters and mostly solid teak i believe. i've been powering them with a hafler dh-500 for now.
