Driver Identification

Dear Folks,

i'm desperately trying to identify a driver coming from a very good homebuilt loudespeaker. unfortunately, the person who built it is unknown and the driver doesnt have any serial numbers or stickers on it.

i've attached various pictures.

Driver comes out of a 2-way box with a ribbontweeter, which couples at 2.4khz. thats all i could identify right now by measuring the crossover.

what are the dimensions of the speaker (diameter etc.)?
what speaker box (volume, closed or vented,...)?
how old could the box be (years)?
what ribbon tweeter?

Hi,

the speaker is a 6 inch speaker.

The Box measures (W x H x D) 290 x 430 x 320 mm and is vented at the back.

Age propably from 2013~15.

Im 90% sure the ribbon which is used is the Fountek Neo CD 2.0:

sorry, my eyes:.....is it a papercone - or a polypropylen (Cone) speaker?
....is the surround made of foam or rubber?
have you searched in the german speaker magazines "klang & ton" and "hobby hifi" ?

the cone is made from a thermoplastic foil (sandwich membrane).
yes, i have searched the whole internet for multiple weeks.
no, there is no 6 digit number anywhere.

The driver reminds me of the Scan Speak 18W... ones, like the 18W/8424. It's probably a OEM or bit older driver than the current ones but the characteristics seem pretty close. Excellent pictures btw.
