Goldwood GW-8PC-8 measurements

After many days of searching I wonder if maybe someone ever measured those speaker.
I got them for from someone who had them laying around and didn't use them.
Still trying to figure out what to do with them and i guess the first thing is to get true measurements.
I found them on the CLIO txt files but the T/S parameters don't make sense.
But I am new to speaker design so maybe i am wrong...

Files seem find to me. I've converted to frd and zma. (remove the .txt extension) These look like infinite baffle, so they would require manipulation for the box and baffle.

Right, those are completely normal values of TS parameters for such a unit.

I tried put it in WnISD and Unibox and it seems I can't get Qts lower than 1.5.
Look at Qes. I Think it's very high comparing to other speakers and the manfucture qes.
Am i right or i missing something?

The TS values shown in the 314Z.zma file calculate a QTS of 1.45 when imputed to unibox, this matches the QTS shown in the 314Z.zma file.


I think it would be fair to question if this data is better than the manufacturers data.

Yeah, seen some pretty far off specs, but don't recall any this far off without being damaged, though with these specs, won't have worry about the cab being too small.

Anyway, OB/IB or ~54 Hz/1.45 Qts = ~37 Hz Alpha TL.
