Default For the price there are obviously better options than ATC midome?

Why would anyone want the ATC midome when you can get this for roughly the same price.....http://www.partsexpress.com/webpage....Page_ID=135#rd

large ribbons like this is obviously superior to conventional domes for handling midrange, or am i wrong?

Are you talking about the RD ribbons or the Neo8 midrange?
The Neo8 is broadly similar to the ATC mid-dome electrically, but with one big difference, the power handling is much lower. I would also think that you would need a high order crossover in order to get close to the rated power handling specs of the BG.
Not that this is putting me off, I'm thinking about the BG ribbons for my next project.
