is this tweeter alright with this mid-woofer

I am going to be making a center using the same brand driver as my mains are made from vifa tweeter & mid woofer .

I was wondering if this mid-woofer the p17sj-00-08 is compatable with this tweeter d26nc-55-06.

Could someone tell me which xo would suit these the best . thanks

Hiya,

I bet your looking at whats available in Jaycar. I reccomend the D25AG or D27TG tweeter also from Vifa, they are available from WES and other aussie distributors.

There are very many P17/D25AG crossover designs online and a few with the D27TG. This way you are sure that the drivers will match each other and has a good crossover and will only need to worry about cabinets, which is what im doing now. I have a pair of D25AG and P17 and am looking for places that'll precut mdf for me.

my mains are the jaycar jv60 kits but I change the box design slighty . the shieled p17 has slighty different t/s paramaters

how much aer these difference going to make those xo's



but I am using it for a center speaker I will need shieled or with buck magnets . the tweeter so i have been told has buck maganets .


or how far does the tweeter have to be away from the tv not to effect it

I mainly get my drivers from wes at trade . a lot cheaper than jaycar
