PHL 3000 box volume

I'm building some three way speakers with PHL 3001 as the low-mid [45Hz to about 400Hz] but there's conflicting opinions on an appropriate box volume. At the small end, PHL suggests 20 litres. At the other end of the scale Stones Audio suggests 43 litres. Both designs are ported which is appropriate for this type of driver.

Anybody offer any opinions based on experience with these drivers or on other successful designs?
