In my own project with the faitalpro I'll build seperate boxes for the high and low. So I can play with time alignment by just moving the horn back and forth.

Mock up done...just to be able to test them a little before I take them to South Africa.....so not the actual enclosure...without the ports for now. 8mb500 should be delivered today.

Not the exact measurements of the design. But very similar. I forgot I had that box lying around...

Hi Stuart.. Just on the one with no crossover for the lows. One thing I can say for sure is the the highs were way better with the 'official crossover' than my test with 1uF with a 7.5 ohm resistor on the highs.

1 Crossover done. 1 speaker done. Except for the damping.

Both speakers done.. Apart from the damping of the enclosure. I am very very happy with the way these puppies are playing. Thanks for the plans 18sound. Thanks also to Bob of rsl.nl for the great service wrt the 8mb500. Very much appreciated. And last but not least thanks to LineSource!!
