Looking for a special type of driver
Hi builders!
Anyone know what this kind of bass driver is called?
The cone is some kind of hard paper with contours and a rubber ring.
The one in the picture is a 12" and model no EAS30PL34S. (only two hits on web)
Any suggestions on other speakers with those kind of drivers in 10 or 12 inch?

I might be wrong but i'm not sure if those types of cone actually have a specific name.
Contours on speaker cones used to be commonplace on a lot of older gear JBL especially used that type of cone but there are many others ,if you are trying to source some looking through the vintage adds on ebay etc will probably find a few .

It's a ribbed cone/diaphragm and rubber surround..
There are plenty of new ribbed cone drivers (..though virtually none that are white, in production, and are good), but not many that also have a rubber surround.
An exception:

The white coloring however isn't the paper itself, but rather a harder coating of some sort.
Speaking of coatings:
You can always turn the dustcap and surround white with something like this:
