I just tried Dirac. It makes my speakers sound like a pair of high end headphones - extremely detailed, analytical, incredible tight bass. Huge improvement for my horrible sounding room. Pretty amazing stuff. I need to play with a little more. It kills too much reflections for my taste, so I want to see if I can get a little bit of that reflection/ambience back with rePhase. It also killed the concert like reverberate bass in my room. For some music (i.e. rap/EDM) the thick, fat sounding slow booming bass is like a guilty pleasure. Would like to see if I can get some of that back too for a different setting.
