Default Mating de10 to a 12 inch driver

is there a 12incher suitable for de10 compression driver? Preferably an eminence product.

I wanna build a 2 way horn and de10 is the best choice for me

For good sound quality and smooth polar pattern match:
B&C recommends a 2.5kHz crossover for the DC10. B&C datasheet shows a steep SPL drop starting at 1.5kHz.
HOME AUDIO not PRO POWER: For good sound quality and smooth polar pattern you could mount the DC10 to a narrow 60H x 40V horn and simulate a LR4 crossover at 1.6kHz to a 12" Eminence Delta Pro 12A.

If you need a wider polar pattern horn, like the 90H x 40V SEOS or QSC, a 10" midrange would be necessary for a smooth 1.6kHz polar match. Eminence Kappalite 3010HO might work. The Faital 10PR410 would be a better choice.

The Eminence Delta 12A cone breakup around 1.6kHz makes it undesirable. This SPL profile is often used for lead guitar 3rd harmonic projection.

A good quality 10" midbass like the Faital 10PR410 would allow a clean sounding 1.8kHz LR4 crossover for the DE10 mounted on a more home-audio desirable 90H x 40V polar pattern horn. At the crossover frequency, you want the polar pattern(early beaming) of the midbass to match the horn.

Typically, a 1.3kHz crossover is used between a quality 12" midbass and a 90H x 40V waveguide. The B&C datasheet recommends a 2.5kHz minimum crossover frequency for the DE10.

Why is it the best choice?

For hi-fi you can cross a compression driver lower than recommended. Maximum SPL drops dramatically, but unless you like to listen loud that doesn't matter.

So if i were to listen at a reasonable level, i could sub de10 in place of de250? (With proper crossover adjustment)

And what kind of volume are we talking here?
