I'm doing some troubleshooting of my speakers and needed to do some polarity testing with a 1.5V battery. I am shocked, shocked I say to discover that only the ring in my ring radiator tweeter moves! I always thought it moved along with the little central dimple.

I hate to break it to you, but phase plugs don't move either.
Damnit!! They should call them Phase Stations then, or Phase NotGoingToBudge.
OK, we can now delete all of my messages on the count of being found a dork.
Now when I recommend a ring-radiator I'll have to warn people ahead of time too.
Just like the coffee tray in my PC actually has a weight limit and no longer slides in and out when I click the "cozy" icon.
I don't care about the associations made with these drivers, I still love mine!
I do admit my 3D printed design might enhance some of these ideas...
